Dr. Mitchell received her undergraduate degree from the University of Maine and her Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University. She completed her Internship at Oakland Saint John Hospital in 1989 and began in private practice.
Dr. Mitchell is dual Board Certified in Family Practice and Integrative Medicine. Dr. Mitchell provides an opportunity for motivated patients to use lifestyle change and natural therapies in conjunction with traditional pharmaceuticals to optimize their health. She is skilled in Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy, joint and trigger point injections and nerve blocks. Additionally, Dr. Mitchell takes special interest in migraine and head pain disorders.
Dr. Mitchell lives in St. Clair with her husband and three sons and enjoys travel, cooking, and Country music.
